Broker's Comments
The Westerly Griffon is well known for giving a steady and reasonably brisk performance for a 26-foot bilge keel boat. She has a sea-kindly manner, even when pushed hard, and is easily capable of making long passages securely and in comfort.
Sequoia would be a great economical choice for a couple or a small family, these boats are also popular for single handed sailing. Her forte is coastal cruising and short- to medium-range offshore passages.
The boat is in need of some attention below decks, mainly repairs or replacement of cabin lining in the fore peak and the quarter berth. Externally Sequoia appears to be in good condition.
For the avoidance of doubt, it should be mentioned that Google (from its stored memory) can find a previous advert for this same boat if one searches for Westerly Griffon. Please ignore that ‘Sold’ advert as she is now actively for sale again. The owner has recently upgraded to a bigger boat.
