Broker's Comments
It was no mistake that Westerly yachts were the most popular class of British built yachts. Their reputation was based on building good boats to Lloyds A1 standard, designed with good sea keeping abilities.
The Westerly Falcon 35 does not disappoint, this is one of the Westerly Jubilee editions. Not many around. She has a large and protected cockpit with wide side decks. The interior offers an amazing amount of space for a boat just under 35 feet. The forward cabin has a double berth with heads to starboard and a good sized hanging locker opposite. In the main saloon, there is ample room around the cabin table. The settee pulls out to make another double berth with a single opposite. The galley is a good size located to port with a well appointed navigation station opposite. Behind the chart table is the access to the large aft cabin which has an en-suite heads.
She sails well yet is easy to handle plus she has the advantage of bilge keels ideal for drying harbours, sandy beaches and those cheaper drying moorings.
She would probably benefit from a polish and new anti fouling. Also the head linings have dropped in the forward cabin but this should not detract from the fact that she is a good boat and is marketed at a price to reflect these facts.
She deserves to be viewed.
