Broker's Comments
A True Classic!
This is one of the last wooden motor yachts built in the UK. From the board of a respected designer, built by a competent and respected yard, she is pitch pine on sawn oak with steam bent rock elm timbers. This fine vessel oozes tradition and quality from another era. An era before fibre glass mass production turned out thousands of white clones to fill the marinas that would soon clog up the byways and backwaters of our hitherto un-spoilt coastline. Her present owners have, however, still been able to enjoy comfortable cruising in our beautiful cruising waters where secluded anchorages might still be found!
She has been exceptionally well maintained and has just benefited from a full professional re-paint by Dale SC at Neyland and a top quality winter cover fitted by Stephen Ratsey Sailmakers - no change out of £26k there. Additionally she benefits from a very recent professional rewire, her plumbing and engine maintenance is, as one might expect, faultless.
If you appreciate such craftsmanship, nostalgia, quality of materials and a chance to be custodian of a piece of living maritime history come and view – see her ‘in the flesh’ to truly appreciate her qualities.
