Broker's Comments
The Nicholson 32 is a true ocean going thoroughbred from arguably the best design house and builder of British yachts in the second half of the twentieth century.Todays lightweight marina dwellers cannot hold a candle to the likes of the Nic 32 when it comes to long distance passage making and sea worthiness, but by today's standards she might, to some eyes, appear cramped and basic. She is a yacht for the sailor who appreciates capability and seamanship rather than showers and onboard entertainment! This yacht has the distinction of being the very first to tie up in Neyland's new marina back in 1984 and she has been in the same ownership for forty five years! She has had new sails and engine in this time, but various items, mainly electrical, are ready for replacement. She requires at very least an external 'wash and polish' but her low asking price reflects her condition. Her owner's advancing years regretfully forces the sale of a much loved vessel.
