Broker's Comments
Commissioned in Scotland for a retired Royal Navy Commander she must have been one of the last yachts of her type to be built before the onset of hostilities. The finest pre war timbers were used in her construction, and she was built to a traditional Scottish East Coast standard by a yard used to building the ubiquetous and rugged fishing craft of the Firth of Forth.
She is an interesting vessel with a fine pedigree, and we have a copy of her write up in June's edition of Yachting Monthly, 1939, after she'd had one season's use!
This yacht could make an excellent live-aboard home, though she would no doubt benefit from an up-dating of some of her equipment. Her keen asking price reflects her owner's desire to sell, due to his advancing years. The yacht could easily outlive most of us!
