Broker's Comments
A delightfully traditional Gaff Cutter without the headaches of traditional wooden construction, she must have been designed by the same bloke who designed Dr Who's Tardis?
Based on the famous Falmouth Oyster dredgers (No, not the Tardis - stupid boy!) this is a serious sailing craft that will look after you when the weather turns nasty. She has a deep and safe cockpit that would grace a 29 footer, the solid feel when you step aboard that befits her 4 ton displacement and plenty of space for two plus two ( kids) below decks. The only downside that I could see was her faded gelcoat. This might be beyond a simple power polish and would benefit from a paint job OR, since it's purely cosmetic anyway, leave it as it is for the authentic Oyster Dredger look!
A great boat for coastal and cross channel passages she also looks as pretty as a picture and would complement any picturesque fishing harbour. They say size isn't everything and I think the Oysterman 22 might just be the proof we're looking for!
