Broker's Comments

Boatshed Essex are pleased to be presenting this lovely Drascombe Dabber, which is 'ready to go'! This is a a very tidy, versatile little family open sailboat, easily powered by sail, oar or small outboard engine. Easy to handle with one or two and only takes a short time to get ready to sail and pack away.

The balanced yawl carries 118 square feet of new sails, distributed over a jib, balanced lug main and self tacking mizzen. It is equipped with a centre-plate and only draws only 0.2m with the plate up, 0.64m, with it down.

Also compact enough to fit in a garage and renowned for its seaworthiness, shallow-water capabilities, and yawl sail plan. This model also features foam buoyancy, to ensure the boat remains unsinkable and with the addition of the upgraded centre-plate housing. This version has been stored in a garage and very much loved and cared for.
