Broker's Comments
The Michell 31 is widely recognised as a 'proper' seagoing motor boat and is a favourite of professional sea farers, angling charter, and dive boat skippers. A large working area aft and decent shelter for'ard makes her ideal for professional work or leisure use. This boat has only ever been used for leisure and has apparently been in the same family's ownership (father then son) for her first forty years. In that time she has cruised extensively as far as the Mediteranean, where she spent a period. During her time she has been well maintained by her two owners and was re-engined (papers, bills etc on file) in 2005. Her present owners purchased her in September 2012. She runs well, is comfortably fitted out for a couple to cruise and should pass survey with flying colours. These boat details are subject to contract.
