Broker's Comments

I love Westerly Yachts, and the Seahawk is, in my opinion, one of the best. Huge areas of easily traversed, tread master covered, deck give a feeling of sure footedness that few other yachts of her size seem to offer. A deep safe cockpit, sensible windshield and usable aft deck complete the picture top sides but the interior springs a few surprises too! A steep descent to the saloon can often leave one feeling that potholing is the chosen sport rather than sailing but the Seahawk has none of that gloominess others might provide. This is due to a generous assortment of windows and hatches providing loads of natural illumination to the saloon. Turning to port however I could hardly suppress the 'wow' comment - in fact I didn't! The aft cabin would not be out of place on a forty footer with (for me at any rate) full standing headroom, a large double berth, washing facilities and a settee. Again, natural light in abundance. A panel in the forward bulkhead affords easy access to the rear of her motor whilst side and forward panels complete the picture of excellent service access to that all important bit of kit - even for a sailing boat. The only anomaly is perhaps the heads which are situated forward , just behind the generous and well appointed fore cabin - but, as so much in life, you can't have everything! This yacht has been well looked after by her present owners, who have owned her for the last eleven years. She is in commission and is ready to cruise but as the photo's hopefully show she has been presented for sale in immaculate order. A credit to her owners who have sadly decided to 'swallow the anchor' after many years of happy cruising.
