Broker's Comments

More has been written about Westerly Centaurs than any other boat, therefore I will keep to the facts. With over 2500 built, it is the most successful boat built in the UK. Designed by Laurent Giles & Partners and launched at the London Boat show 1969. I was there.
This one has the A layout, which comprises of 2 berths forward which converts to a double. The dinette table drops, producing a double berth and 2 single berths aft. The galley is to port and the heads are to starboard.
Designed as a rugged family cruiser with the ability to dry out, this vessel has had monies spent on osmosis treatment, rigging and engine. She has the Volvo MD2 fitted giving a good turn of speed under power. Well worth viewing.
