Broker's Comments

These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This boat probably represents an icon of classic boating , the Parham built folk boats are sought after. It exudes an era of other times and yet has a sturdy feel, a boat for all seasons. With an extended coachroof, and painted decks this particular example is very fine. She has been owned by the same family for a little less than 50 years! But her upkeep has been exemplary, every season , replacement or servicing has taken place, she had new standing rigging some years ago and she has an excellent suit of sails coupled with a late 2013 Yanmar GM10 Diesel. It is below, that her personality is most apparent, the owners have been careful to preserve so much of what makes her a classic, a perfect balance of maintenance and not over renovation. To top off her internal appointments a snug and efficient multi fuel burner, her mooring is on one of the prettiest stretches of the Suffolk Coast. If you are looking for a weekender, that's practical and yet enables you to share in her classic charms this is a down to earth sailing boat, seemingly ready to sail.
